I started my car buying experience in mid July after I lost my Brother.(before he passed I had promised him I would build my credit and try to get a newer or New car by years end). Going to several other dealerships and driving several cars I usually left feeling frustrated as the salesman made me feel like an idiot or would try to balloon the price way out of my reach. So on October 31 I had a deal set up for a 2024 Chevrolet Trax 2RS Mosiac Black, (at another dealer) and they ended up selling that vehicle out from under me as I was on my way to buy it. I then saw that Gregg Young Chevrolet had one In Transit. I reached out and spoke with Bob Troutner the next day and explained briefly my issue. Not expecting much considering my past frustration experiences. Bob pulled my credit and called me back, the way he told me I was approved was heartwarming! He didn't say we're going to "try" to work something out, he said "We're going to ensure you keep your promise to your brother". It wasn't so much as to what was said, but the inflection in his voice that made me realize I finally found someone who was going to help me, not hurt me. (Bringing me to tears). Knowing the Trax was In Transit I knew I had to wait. I put a hold payment on it. Bob kept me informed about the progress of the vehicle. He also was very detailed and walked me through the entire process. I felt like I was talking with a family member, not a salesman. Arriving at Gregg Young Chevrolet the day of the delivery. I was excited but very nervous at the same time. Meeting Bob Troutner and shaking his hand, my nervousness literally melted away. It was like I was working with my best friend, he made me feel at ease and comfortable. Again reminding me of the process. Gregg Young Chevrolet should be proud to have him on their staff!! This car buying experience was above all the rest! The dealership was warm and welcoming. They even bought me lunch at Corvette Cafe!! (Which has amazing food). The staff who I had contact with was amazing as well. They made me feel like I belonged there, part of the family. I may have spent a few hours there but it didn't seem like it. The process was smooth and seamless. From the first phone call to my last hand shake with Bob Troutner, I felt like I was in good hands! On a rare occasion I teared up and Bob said "I understand, tears help cleanse the soul" Again showing his genuine sincerity. I would highly recommend Gregg Young Chevrolet to anyone who's looking to buy a new car. You won't regret it!! These guys are above all the rest! Other dealerships should take note! This is how it should be done!! I will be buying my next car there if and when that time comes. When I was leaving Bob shook my hand and said "Merry Christmas Patrick, here's your new car"!! The service department is top notch! I went in for an oil change and I like that they include a tire rotation. They showed me my air and cabin filters so I could determine if I needed them replaced. The service was quick, about an hour, so I waited in the customer lounge. The price was reasonable as well. Great experience!

Mike greeted us and immediately offered to help. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and was able to answer all my questions. Johan was also great. He walked me through all the financing info and offered up different options for warranties etc and helped get an appt set up to get my tint and a few other things done. He followed up with me as well. KT was awesome too. He was friendly, patient and helped explain how to use all the features in my car. I had an issue opening the sunroof. He immediately took me to service to have them help with it. He offered up his time should i have anymore questions at all. All 3 were welcoming and knowledgable and didnt rush. Took their time to enisre i had a top notch experience.
