2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS Gets Twin-Turbocharged
Redline Motorsports claims that it has successfully built the worlds’ first ever twin-turbocharged engine to be fitted under the hood of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS. With just 9 pounds of boost during dyno tests, the Camaro SS generated an output of 657.2 rear-wheel horsepower and 633.4 pound-feet of torque. If E85 fuel is run through larger injectors, the output could possibly be increased to around 700. Buyers even have the option to go the supercharged route. Tuning companies Hennessey and Lingenfelter also offer a supercharger for the 2016 Camaro. Gregg Young Chevrolet urges you to check out the twin-turbocharged 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS take on the dyno in an online video titled, “REDLINE MOTORSPORTS 2016 TWIN TURBO CAMARO.”
